What do we stand together for?
An independent civic initiative. Your answer in your own words — no options to choose from, no parties, no campaigning.
Two minutes. No registration: we do not ask for your name, phone number or e-mail.
The state proposes solutions.
Politicians propose slogans.
We propose none of them.
We ask you.
Only people can name the country they recognise in their own lives — the one they are willing to stay in, return to and act for together.
To those defending the country
Your experience should not be reduced to someone else's formula.
To those keeping life going
Everyday endurance has the right to name the future too.
To those who left or are coming back
Your connection to Ukraine is part of the shared answer.
We do not ask you to pick someone else's answer.
You are given ready-made options
You write your own
Every voice follows a path you can see.
Voice
Your answer is kept as its own record and is never dissolved into a percentage.
Connections
Technology surfaces repetitions, differences and contradictions across thousands of answers.
Meanings
Analysts check how every conclusion is linked back to the original voices.
The map
The result is independently verified and published openly.
A map of meanings that shows not only the conclusion but where it came from.
Open
Society sees the result, not only an internal report.
Traceable
Every conclusion has a visible link to the original answers.
Independently verified
Independent sociology shows what reflects the country and what reflects an engaged audience.
From a single sentence to a national agenda.
Your answer will not end up as a quotation in a report. Here is the full path, and every step of it will be public.
Open collection of voices
People state what matters most in their own words. No options, no prompts, no quota for the "right" answer.
An image of Ukraine
What recurs across different answers and different groups forms a shared core: a short formulation of what we stand together for. It is written in people's words, not in the language of analysts.
Key directions of movement
Around the core, directions of meaning emerge — between eight and twelve by plan — the demands through which people describe the life of the country. Their number and content are determined by the answers themselves, not by a list prepared in advance.
Sociological verification
An independent representative study of 1,200 respondents tests what genuinely reflects the country and what reflects only an engaged audience. The core formulation is tested for importance and for rejection across different groups. The survey validates the map; it does not create it.
Expert discussion
Methodologists, sociologists and field specialists review the conclusions and translate each direction into concrete, measurable tasks.
One public demand instead of a hundred offers
Today every political force arrives with its own list of what people supposedly need and builds a campaign on the contradictions between those lists. The map of meanings reverses the order: society states its demand first, and politicians respond to it.
This does not narrow the choice. The directions define where the country wants to move; how to move remains a matter of competing programmes. But the argument will be about solutions, not about what people supposedly want.
Anonymous, and still verified.
We do not claim to have identified every participant: anonymous collection does not allow it, and identification would destroy trust. We do something else — we reduce the risk of bots, duplicates and manipulation, mark doubtful cases transparently, and test the conclusions through independent research.
Technical level
Protection against automated and repeat submissions works invisibly: no captchas, no puzzles. After each wave the dataset is checked for duplicates, template answers and spikes from a single source.
Field level
Where facilitators help people take part, they are paid per working day and never per response. In addition: selective call-backs, unannounced checks by the coordinator, and comparison of data across facilitators.
Independent level
The rules of analysis are published before collection begins. An external research company tests the conclusions, an independent oversight group signs the final report, and the dataset of codes is published so that anyone can recalculate the result.
The first cycle is not the destination. It is the test of the instrument.
Seven thousand answers make up the first national cycle. It tests the instrument, builds the network and leaves a working system behind. After that, the same mechanism scales to the whole country.
First national cycle
7,000 validated answers: 6,000 in Ukraine and 1,000 abroad as a separate layer. A map of meanings, independent representative verification, and results returned to communities and local councils. Six months.
National scale-up
Much broader participation, stronger confirmation of participation through verified tokens, expansion and refinement of the map of meanings, and a wide public and expert discussion of the result.
The result is needed by those who prepare decisions.
Communities want to see the findings for their own residents but do not run such research themselves. Analytical and academic institutions need an evidence base. We do not promise adoption — we create a route to formal consideration and document the response, including its absence.
Demand
Communities and partner organizations confirm their interest in the results in writing before collection even begins.
Consideration
The findings are presented to institutions for professional discussion within their mandate.
Response
We document the official response: where the findings are taken into account, used, or not taken forward.
The rules were published before the data existed.
The full methodology of the first cycle — the subject of study, the four layers of meaning, the collection channels, the reliability model, the analytical thresholds, the criterion for a shared core, the independent validation and a frank account of the method's limitations — is published in open access. It can be checked, challenged or reused.
The 3+1 instrument
Three mandatory open questions and one optional question shown after the answers have been saved.
Independent verification
A representative study of 1,200 respondents tests between eight and twelve clusters of meaning.
Rights in the methodology

The limits are stated
The open dataset is not a representative sample, and the document states plainly what cannot be claimed on its basis.

A civic initiative, not a political project.
Belongs to no party
The project has no ties to political forces, candidates or their structures and runs no campaigning.
Not a government commission
The initiative was created by society and is not carried out on behalf of any public authority.
Open funding
Sources of funding are published together with the results. Anyone can check who paid for the project.
The result belongs to everyone
The map of meanings is published in open access — anyone may use it, including those who find it inconvenient.
Methodology matters. But trust begins with named people who are accountable.
I am personally accountable for how the answers are collected, processed and published. If a conclusion does not survive scrutiny, everyone will see it.

Who is already waiting for the results
These institutions confirmed their interest in the findings in writing before collection began. The cooperation is unpaid: none of them funds the project or influences its conclusions.
National Institute for Strategic Studies
The Center for Domestic Policy Studies sees the findings as a supplementary source of empirical data for analytical materials, proposals and recommendations on Ukraine's strategic development and public policy. Letter of 16 September 2026, Viacheslav Potapenko.
Institute of Public Administration and Civil Service, Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv

Obukhiv District Council, Kyiv Region
Represents 9 territorial communities and around 200 settlements. It needs the findings for its own residents in order to prepare recommendations for communities, support the work of standing committees and plan local programmes. Letter of 16 September 2026.
Who helps us reach people
These organizations are ready to distribute the open invitation through their networks and to help with access to communities. They do not see individual responses, do not select participants and do not influence the analysis: collection, verification and processing are carried out by the project team under a single methodology.
West Ukrainian Resource Center
Foundation for NGO development, Lviv. Experience of working with more than 100 territorial communities, including small towns and rural areas. Distribution of the invitation through its own channels. Letter No. 2 of 17 September 2026, Executive Director Vasyl Poluyko.
Kraina Mriy International Ethno-Festival

Seven letters of support and interest were received before collection began. The list continues to grow.
Who recommends the project
The results of the project may be of practical and analytical interest for the preparation of analytical materials and of proposals and recommendations concerning Ukraine's strategic development and public policy formation.
The Institute supports the initiative and recommends that grant-making and partner organisations consider providing financial, expert and organisational support for its implementation.
Methodologically grounded and properly verified findings can become an additional source of data for people-centred planning and for dialogue with the residents of communities.
Quotations are taken from the letters of support. Full texts are available on request.
